Solidarity Bahrain hosted its second Innovative Hackathon
In line with its ongoing commitment and responsibility towards cultivating local talents and empowering its employees, Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C, one of the largest insurance companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, has recently hosted an innovative hackathon for its employees.
The innovative hackathon contributed to promote innovation, creativity, and most importantly, the upskilling of future generations of digital technology experts in the insurance industry.
The hackathon took place between the 24th of November to the 1st of December and was organized in support of social distancing measures to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. The event involved many employees from different departments and different qualification backgrounds, who have gone through virtual intensive training and mentorship sessions. Employees presented their innovative ideas and solutions to the judging panel which consisted of senior officials from Solidarity Bahrain.
On this occasion, Jawad Mohammed, CEO, Solidarity Bahrain stated: “We are proud of the success of the hackathon, the pitched ideas, and innovative solutions proposed by the participants”. He also stated: “The hackathon, is one of the ways, that will help Solidarity Bahrain build and sustain a strong pipeline of Bahraini talent with the right digital transformation skills and experience to lead the company over the next decade”.
